When interview committees and principals interview art academics, they’re in search of someone who can join with the whole tradition of the college. Indeed, Jessica Hoffmann Davis, the founder and former director of the Arts in Schooling Program, was a researcher at Venture Zero for a few years before serving as the primary director of AIE. This instrumental strategy to Arts Training neither limits the Arts as a supplementary instructional tool, nor merely aims at bringing arts into curricula as the main content or a examine subject.
